Hi! We’re Sarah and Danny!
As I (Sarah!) work as a contractor, I often travel around the UK and Europe, staying in cheap hotels on industrial estates, service stations and airports. Having living space to relax, being able to make my own meals, and get a good night’s sleep, instead of living out of suitcases and eating hotel food every day, was like something I could only dream of, and despite working in some of the most beautiful cities in the world, I always craved getting back home to enjoy some normality and home comforts.
It was from these experiences we created Skyhold Stays, so people who are working away, visiting a new place, or even moving out of their home for renovations and repairs, have a home away from home where they can relax after a long day.
Our kitchen is fully equipped, right down to including kitchen scales and cooking essentials such as oil, salt and pepper, so you can prepare and store your own meals instead of living on takeaways and fast food.
Our two living spaces give you the flexibility to enjoy some social time with your travel group, curl up with one of our selection of books, or have some fun in our games room with board games, a Smart TV with Netflix, and a PS4 with two control pads.
Our bedrooms all have extra linen and towels, to make sure you always have everything you need to wind down for a good night’s sleep when you are ready to settle down for the evening.
We are so passionate about providing a beautiful, comfortable and enjoyable place to stay whilst you are working or visiting in the Wakefield area, and we hope you love staying with us and much as we love hosting you.
